Fitness Center Information
All members are subject to a registration fee of $20.00. This fee includes orientation, individualized fitness plan and seminars. A gregistration of $10.00 plus the cost of a key card will be charged to all renewing members after a one year lapse in membership.

Key Cards: Each member is required to use their own key card. Key cards cost $15.00 each. The key card must be turned in at the end of your membership in good condition, at which time you will be refunded $15.00.

Orientation: It is highly recommended. The initial assessment allows our staff to design a goal oriented program to meet your specific needs. You may pick and choose according to your personal goals. This is not required for membership.

Infrared Sauna

How Infrared Saunas Work
Many toxins are absorbed by the human body and are not able to be released naturally. These toxins block blood circulation and impair cellular energy, preventing the body from healing itself. Infrared saunas cause a defoxification process to remove these toxins. The detoxification process takes place on a cellular level, where the infrared waves vibrate the molecules in the body. This breaks the ion bonds between the molecules and the toxins, releasing them from the body. This process removes cholestrerol, fat-soluble toxins, heavy metals, sulfuric acid, sodium, ammonia, uric acid, and many others. These toxins are not found in the normal sweat produced from exercising. The sweat produced when using an Infrared Sauna is approximately 80% water and 20% toxins, which is one of the highest ratios achievable. The Infrared sauna runs at temeratures ranging 100 to 140 degrees F. This is 60 to 100 degrees lower than other types of saunas. This cooler temperature allows the body to produce more sweat then normal. The infrared waves are powerful enough to penetrate up to 1.5" into tissue to create a natural resonance. Although very powerful, these waves are also very safe--- so safe that hospitals use them to warm newborns.

Who should avoid use -   Any person with any of the following conditions should consult a physician before using an Infrared Sauna:

• Pregnant or with a possibility of pregnancy
• Taking prescription drugs
• Diagnosed with a disease such as Systematic Lupus or Multiple Sclerosis
• Recent acute joint injury
• Enclosed infection (dental, joint or tissue)
• Metal rods, pins or artificial joints
• Silicone implants (nose, ear, etc.)
• Hemophiliacs or hemorrhage prone
